With a swanky new camera in hand, The Casting of Frank Stone's fifth chapter opens back in the garage with Jaime and Linda just before Chris and Robert enter—he's gonna help us get to the Mill without his dad knowing.
There are some great horror games with a focus on multiplayer offerings, and here are the best ones you can play with friends.
Since we last saw the crew, Chris has been reading up on all things Frank Stone at the library, excited to find some locations tied to the murders that you can use in the film. This chapter is a long one, with some tough choices to make - here's our full walkthrough so you don't have to go it alone.
Once you've finished talking to her, grab the cassette tape on the desk and pop it in the radio. It's an interview with Tom Holt from the first chapter, and the tape will differ depending on how you treated him.
If you were more supportive and understanding, you'll get a trophy for helping him get sober.
You can find the Oracle of the Omniverse book to your right, one of the Murder Mill Artifacts.
With that done, we can head back to the Mill and start looking for those mucky crime scenes.
After you speak to Linda in the garage and Bonnie watches the four of you drive away, you'll arrive at the Mill. To avoid Sam, you're taking the scenic route through the woods this time.
This is the secret passage Robert was telling you about, but there are two different paths to reach the Storm Drain, either you climb the fence or cross the bridge.
This path is much faster, but you need to take both to get every collectible.
Unlike the Drugstore and Curiosity Shop choice, you can't see both paths in one run.
To your left further down the path, you'll find a gap between the rocks that you can squeeze through to get the Mother Daughter Ring Trinket.
After picking that up, head back and follow the path until you crawl under a log and trigger a cutscene in which you hide from Sam. Once this is over, you'll be at the Storm Drain—told you it was fast.
Crossing the bridge is slower, but you avoid Sam and find a second collectible. Follow the path under the log, triggering a cutscene, and up a ledge until you reach a walkway. Balance over it and you'll see a wooden beam further down that you can also balance over.
On the platform at the end, there's a box with the Tattooed Middle Finger Trinket inside. Pick it up, jump down, crawl under the rocks, climb onto the shack, and leap off the next ledge. Keep going forward and you're at the Storm Drain.
You're back in the underground maze from Chapter 1! But don't worry, it's easy enough. Whereas before, you had to follow the Furnace Access signs, now you can follow some yellow markings, but ignore them for now.
Instead, take a left and squeeze through the wall to find the Wraith Dead by Daylight Doll. Now, you can follow Robert and the yellow markings until you see an open grate to your right.
Climb over it, open the door, and look for a box to your right. Pick up the key inside and then head back to Robert and continue following him until you reach the Courtyard where you'll film the 'final' Murder Mill scene.
This key will come in handy later on in the chapter; don't worry about it yet.
But Linda has an idea for a moment between Jaime and Chris' characters (who are siblings in the movie) which she wants to shoot at the Furnace, so we're not entirely done yet.
On the way to the Furnace, Bonnie will jump out of the shadows and jumpscare Jaime. Now, you can explore the courtyard properly.
When you get control of Linda, turn around and head back to the grate Sam opened in Chapter 1 to find the crowbar.
This is why we told you not to break it back in the Chapter 1 walkthrough!
In the back left of the courtyard, pry open the double doors with said crowbar to find the Wooden Oni Mask Trinket.
Now, you can head back and follow the main path to the Furnace door. Thankfully, it's not lit up in hellfire red this time.
Before you speak to Chris, there's another collectible in the Furnace. Head down to where the rest of the crew are and take a right up some stairs.
There's a gap you can squeeze through here that leads to a handle. Pick it up and go back up to the main furnace area where Sam fought Frank. Interact with the grey box and use the handle to pull the platform in the middle towards you.
Walk up to the platform and grab the Blighted Rat Trinket. Afterwards, you can speak to Chris and film the actual final scene.
Bonnie and Linda will then leave and you'll be asked to film the strange green stuff in the Furnace. It's pretty straightforward; just hold down the button prompt shown onscreen.
Bonnie and Linda will leave while Chris, Robert, and Jaime venture into the next room to uncover where Frank worked at the Mill.
Head straight forward and open the locked door with that key you found earlier. Once inside, turn left and head up the stairs. Pull all three shelves out.
Go back down the stairs and push the red cart under the yellow towel. Climb up and follow the path, cross a beam, release a ladder (this is a shortcut in case you fall), and jump over the three shelves. At the end, you'll find a Trinket.
Climb down into the original room and head left. Crawl through the hole in the wall and pick up the Clown Rellik.
Now, you can head back to the Passageway and open the door to the Machine Shop.
Now, from Jaime's perspective, follow the room around the traincart until you see a generator. Wait for Robert to reach it and then talk to him.
While arguing about Chris, you'll realise the generator is busted. Luckily, Jaime knows how to fix it, he just needs two parts. These are pretty easy to find.
On a desk a little further up from the generator to your right, you'll see the first part. Pick it up.
Head back to the entrance and the second part can be found on another desk.
With both in hand, return to the generator and repair it, Dead by Daylight style. Once it's functioning, follow the yellow wire to a button and press it to open a locked door.
Inside, you'll see another red cabinet. Move it under the yellow towel, climb up, and crawl through the ventilation shaft until you reach a hole that you can drop through. You're now in the locked office; pick up the keys to the left of the door.
Reunite with Chris and use the keys to open the traincart. Once inside, walk through the door opposite you and turn right to find a ladder—climb it.
Follow Robert and Chris to the next traincart and either jump across first (Commanding) or let Chris go ahead (Hesitant). When both of you are on the next traincart, Robert will jump across and stumble. You'll have a QTE to catch him, but if you fail, Chris will save him anyway.
After this brief cutscene, you'll discover Frank's Lair. Not even the police found this place. There's a severed hand in a jar to your left and a bunch of unsettling murder weapons strewn about, just another day in Cedar Hills.
On the table, you can read one of Frank's notebooks about his various murder weapons, unlocking the Weapon Designs Artifact.
Afterwards, examine the jar on the back shelf to uncover... a decapitated human head! Robert will understandably leave as fast as he can to get the sheriff (his dad), but Jaime and Chris stay behind. You can explore the lair a little more, but when you're done, jump down the hatch Robert left through.
Chris whips out the severed hand in a jar and starts filming it, catching Jaime completely off guard—this scene can play out in a couple of ways. Let's break them down.
You can either be Shocked or Apprehensive about Chris filming the hand, but it leads to the same outcome—she'll say the relationship isn't fun anymore.
If you pick "Gloomy", they break-up, and if you pick "Hopeful", she appreciates Jaime's understanding, and the two stay together.
Things go a little differently if you've strengthened Jaime and Chris' relationship to its maximum. Here's a quick rundown of how you can do that:
Instead of the Gloomy and Hopeful dialogue options, you'll get Appreciative and Pessimistic.
After dodging a nasty breakup, Frank Stone returns from the dead and a portal rips open from a doorway, sucking Chris in. As Jaime, you can either Confront Frank or Flee.
Jaime gets sliced into pieces and Chris falls into the portal anyway.
If you grabbed the firecrackers in Chapter 3, you can use these to stop Frank, keeping Jaime alive. Fail the QTE, however, and he still dies.
Chris gets sucked into the portal and Jaime survives.
Whatever you do, Chris will fall into the portal. However, if you flee, she will get angry at Jaime and punch him the next time they meet. The best option here is to get the firecrackers and at least try to save her.
And that's the end of Chapter 5. It's the most complex so far, but things get a bit simpler next when we return to Madison, Linda, and Stan in 2024.
TYhese horror games will get under your skin and linger in your mind.
